Simple Entreaties

by James Vose

Happy New Year!

I hope you had a refreshing break over the holidays and are ready to take on 2024! If your resolutions include entering competitions this year, or submitting your work to galleries or making prints to sell; I’d like to help you with perfect images of your beautiful art. James Vose is one of my clients who wins many awards around the nation with his paintings and I’m proud to be his photographer. Here’s a snippet of a recent email from him:

“Your image of Simple Entreaties, so perfect in exactly hitting the blues, took the Award Of Excellence in the 2023 National Oil and Acrylic Painters Society Associate Members Annual Exhibition. The clarity and color fidelity of your images is always remarkable. Thanks so much.”
– James Vose

Thanks for the kind words James!

Artwork Photography for James Vose

James Vose concentrates his efforts on still life, in oil and in graphite. His work depicts a broad range of objects, from fruit and vegetables to children’s toys, mechanical and musical instruments, and flowers. As a rule, he does not depict objects of a sort that could have existed only after the invention of plastic.

His paintings have been selected as finalists in the 14th (2019) and 15th (2021) International Salons conducted by the Art Renewal Center. His painting called The Weight of Words was awarded third place in still life in the 38th Annual Competition (2021) of the Artists Magazine.
